Last night Ben and I met up with the always affable Samantha and Chris from Carey Dodd Associates for a polite drinky drink to discuss the future of Bloody Cuts in the ironically named watering hole called ‘Temperance’.
As always, our commitment to pre-release secrecy forbids me from giving you any details pertaining to future episodes and productions in terms of story, plot, plans of world domination etc… no wait… eh hem…
Anyways… What I can tell you with much excitement is that the aforementioned future of Bloody Cuts will most definitely include Carey Dodd Associates, a fantastic London-based casting agency.
Most graciously Sam and Chris have offered the full support of their agency to Bloody Cuts and have pledged to assist in the casting of future episodes as well as lending us their immense knowledge and experience to assist the project and our continuing endeavor to bring you high quality short slices of terror.
As with each and everyone of our affiliates we are eternally indebted to their generosity and all round awesomeness.
Carey Dodd Associates were responsible for presenting us with three of the 7 excellent actors that you’ll see (and hear) in next Bloody Cuts episode: “Don’t Move”. Watch out for some truly astounding performances from Kate Braithwaite, Beth Cooper and Ian Whyte, very, very soon.
“With over 50 years of industry experience between them, agents Chris Carey and Samantha Dodd founded Carey Dodd Associates in 2012 with a clear and broad vision of developing and promoting the best acting talent across all mainstream film, television and theatre.
With our focus primarily on strong acting ability and experience, many of our clients also have additional skills that lend themselves to the accelerating changes in FX technology, as well as ever increasing audience expectations, and a drive across the industry to continue to push the boundaries further.”

Here’s to the future, may it be bloody… in the best way possible…
